North American P-51 Mustang and B-25 Mitchell
Two World War II aircraft, the North American Aviation P-51 Mustang and the B-25 Mitchell were on display at the Wheeling Ohio County Airport in West Virginia. Both aircraft were on display from July 19 to July 21, 2013.
The P-51 Mustang was a single-seat fighter, however, the one that was on display was a two-seat trainer model. The B-25 Mitchell was a twin engine medium bomber which became famous when it was used for the famous Doolittle Tokyo Raid on April 18, 1942.
